Compass Centre: To Infinity and Beyond!

This week during Challenge Time, we introduced a little friendly competition between the classes to see who could create the best infinity space galaxy artwork as part of our creative curriculum topic, ‘To Infinity and Beyond’.

Although the activity centred on producing a piece of art, the main learning focus was on teamwork, social interaction, and communication skills.

Pupils worked alongside familiar adults and peers to design their space-themed artwork, using communication boards to express which resources they needed and which colours they wanted to use.

I’m sure you’ll all agree that we have some amazing artists in the Compass Centre! Everyone had a fantastic time, and there were lots of wonderful social interactions and communication throughout the session.
